Jerry Lee Barker, a 76-year-old Caucasian male from Rusk, Texas, was tragically found dead in his home on February 26, 2014. He was discovered sitting in his chair with a fatal gunshot wound to the abdomen. The murder weapon, a Ruger 357 revolver, was found at the scene. According to the autopsy, the trigger was pulled from a distance of within three feet, and Jerry was reportedly asleep at the time.
