Jamal Kree Richburg, a 19-year-old African American male, was fatally shot during an altercation on April 28, 2014, in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred on the 1700 block of 4th Avenue West. Following the shooting, Richburg was transported to Princeton Baptist Medical Center and later transferred to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
