Cedrick Alvin Collins, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 8, 2014, in Malakoff, Texas. Collins was the victim of a gunshot wound and was transferred by ambulance to East Texas Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. The incident occurred in a residential area, and witnesses reported seeing two individuals fleeing the scene on foot in a northwest direction.
