On June 19, 2014, Andira Briseno, a 13-year-old girl of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost her life in a horrific incident in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Andira, along with her 15-year-old brother Andy Briseno Jr., was murdered by their father, Andy Briseno, who then set their mobile home on fire and took his own life. The incident shocked the small community of Carrizo Springs, as the Briseno family was well-known in the area.
