Maeghan Bernier, a 29-year-old woman from Austin, Texas, tragically lost her life on July 13, 2014. She was found dead in her apartment at the Gables Grandview Apartments near RM 2222 and Loop 360, with multiple gunshot wounds. The Travis County Medical Examiner's Office ruled her death a homicide.

The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide. Jason Lamb, 41, was also found dead at the scene, having taken his own life with a handgun after shooting Bernier. Police reports indicated ...
