Monica McCoy, a 37-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on August 14, 2014, in Lubbock, Texas. She was pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting in her home in the 4800 block of Detroit Avenue. The incident was later determined to be a murder-suicide.
