In the late hours of a Sunday evening, on February 21, 2010, tragedy struck in Kansas City, Missouri. It was at the intersection of 24th Street and Highland that the life of 20-year-old Michael E. Baker Jr. was cut short. Police were dispatched to the scene around 11:55 p.m. following a call for an ambulance. Upon their arrival, they discovered the young man's body lying on the ground.
