Jose Mendoza, a 37-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically killed on February 20, 2015, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Known by his stage name "Flatline," Mendoza was a local rapper and avid fisherman. His body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds at the Cos-Way Bait & Tackle on Padre Island. Despite efforts by emergency medical staff to save him, Mendoza succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation into Mendoza's death led to the arrest of Jesse Wayne Taylor, who was indicted by a Nuece ...
