On April 22, 2015, in Fort Worth, Texas, 31-year-old Reginald Duane McGregor was fatally shot by police officers responding to a 911 call reporting a burglary in progress. According to reports, an armed intruder had entered a residence, engaged in a confrontation with the occupants, and shot one of them. Upon arrival, officers encountered McGregor outside the home, where a gunfight ensued, resulting in McGregor's death.
