Charles Harris, a 21-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on May 3, 2015, in Arlington, Texas. Harris, who had moved from Detroit to Arlington six months prior to pursue work and college opportunities, was shot and killed while walking away from a pickup basketball game. According to police reports, an argument broke out among players, and as Harris walked to his car, a shot was fired, striking him. He was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after.
