Emily Rose Nevarez, a 14-year-old girl from El Paso, Texas, tragically lost her life on May 5, 2015. Emily, who was a student at Eastwood Middle School, was the victim of a murder-suicide carried out by her father, Ramon Nevarez. The incident occurred early in the morning at their home on Spencer Drive in East El Paso. Ramon Nevarez, 51, shot his daughter before turning the gun on himself.
