Jesus Delgado Mohawk Rodriguez, a 65-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on May 17, 2015, in Waco, Texas. He was one of nine individuals killed during a violent shootout between rival motorcycle clubs and police at the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco. The incident began with a parking dispute that escalated into a deadly confrontation.
Rodriguez, a Vietnam veteran and Purple Heart recipient, was not known to be a violent man, according to his family.
The shootout resulted in the deaths of eight other individuals, including Daniel Raymond Boyett, 44, Wayne Lee Campbell, 43, and several others. Law enforcement officers arrested and processed over 170 individuals through the McLennan County Jail in connection with the incident. The investigation revealed that the victims, including Rodriguez, died from gunshot wounds to the head and abdomen.
