Born in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 5, 1957, Michael Leroy Jones was an African American male who built a multifaceted life defined by service and entrepreneurship. He attended Northwest High School, graduating in 1976, and subsequently joined the United States Marines, demonstrating an early commitment to discipline and duty. Following his military service, he spent decades working on the assembly line for Chrysler in Fenton, Missouri, until his departure from the company in 2008.
