Toris Deandre Knight, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in a shooting on August 5, 2015, in El Paso, Texas. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in the 4000 block of Van Buren Avenue near Monroe Avenue and Cassidy Road in the Lower Dyer area of Central El Paso. Knight was found unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
