Laprida D. Shears, a 25-year-old resident of Tyler, Texas, tragically lost their life on August 29, 2015. Shears was fatally shot at Bunny's, a gas station located at Highway 14 and Loop 323 in Tyler. The incident occurred around 300 people, and it involved a shootout between members of a Tyler-area gang and a Longview-area gang. Four weapons were used during the shooting, and several individuals were injured, including Bertram Arnie, Romel Johnson, and Damonte Shears.
