On the evening of November 16, 2010, police in St. Louis, Missouri, responded to a violent incident at the O'Fallon Place Apartments in the downtown area. Steve Hunt Sr., a 44-year-old male, had been visiting the complex at 1741 Cochran Place when he was approached and fatally shot. The shooting occurred around 8:45 p.m. outside the apartment building where he had arrived to make a visit.
