Monterick Deyonta Payne, an 18-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Plano, Texas, tragically lost his life on November 19, 2015. He was shot in a drive-by shooting while outside a friend's house on Tree House Lane in central Plano. Monterick was outside when a vehicle pulled up, and someone inside started shooting. He ran back into the house for help but later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
