On March 30, 2016, Deandre Shawn Bush, a 27-year-old male from Texarkana, Texas, was tragically shot and killed in the 2000 block of West 18th Street. Bush was found slumped over in the front seat of his vehicle, with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. The police believe that he was shot through the open driver's side window from a close distance. Bush's body was sent to the Medical Examiner's Office in Dallas for an autopsy.
