Chris Brown, a 40-year-old African American man from Houston, TX, tragically died on June 19, 2016, while defending his family during a home invasion. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when several intruders, pretending to be police officers, forcibly entered Brown's apartment in west Houston. The attackers pistol-whipped Brown and ransacked the apartment, stealing various items and taking Brown's Chevrolet Suburban.
