Mark Petty, aged 40, was killed on May 5, 2011, in St. Louis, Missouri. Petty and Maurice Willis, who was also killed in the same incident, were engaged in a conversation near the intersection of Veronica and Partridge Avenues around 1 p.m. when they were gunned down in broad daylight.
