Dijon Marquis Alex, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 30, 2016, in Greenville, Texas. The incident occurred shortly before midnight on Edgar Street, where Dijon and another individual, Jakoyian Deion Ervin, were both shot. Both victims were immediately transported to Hunt County Regional Medical Center. Unfortunately, Dijon succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other victim, Jakoyian Deion Ervin, survived the shooting.
