Avery Hannah Contreras, a 23-month-old girl of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on July 15, 2016, in Tahoka, Texas. She was found in the rear passenger seat of a truck alongside her father, Jeremy John Contreras, 36, and her brother, Garret Jonah Contreras, 5. The truck was discovered on County Road Q, north of Tahoka. The cause of death was determined to be gunshot wounds.
