Her death was part of a devastating incident that also claimed the lives of her father, William Colburn Jr., aged 63, her mother, Janna Colburn, aged 53, and her 15-year-old brother, William Quince Colburn III. The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide committed by William Quince Colburn III.
