family members to other users on the social media platform Discord. He also threatened to continue the violence at a local school. Shortly after, officers heard a gunshot and a thud, prompting them to enter the RV and discover the gruesome scene.
The investigation revealed that William Quince Colburn III had killed his family members and two family dogs before taking his own life. The police worked closely with the Aransas Pass Independent School District and Ingleside Independent School District administration to ensure there was no continuing threat to students or staff.
