On the early morning of September 18, 2016, 25-year-old African American woman Aisha Nicole McGee was tragically shot and killed in Tyler, Texas. The incident occurred around 2:44 a.m. in the 3100 block of Pointe North Drive, directly across from Club Ice, a local nightclub. Alongside her, 30-year-old Steven Ray Smith, an African American man, was also found deceased at the scene. Both victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
