Roberto Bermudez, a 38-year-old Hispanic man, tragically lost his life on October 2, 2016, in Houston, TX. He was fatally shot in the head while trying to protect his family during a gathering at his mother-in-law's home in the southwest Houston neighborhood of Sharpstown. The incident occurred when an argument broke out between Bermudez's family and an invited guest, Julio Antonio Hernandez-Faced, who returned with a gun and opened fire.
