Robert Eames, a 30-year-old man from Balch Springs, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on December 26, 2016. Eames was confronted by would-be burglars outside his apartment when he was fatally shot. His death left behind a newborn son, Hunter, who was born just five days before the incident. Eames' fiancée witnessed the shooting on their security camera feed and heard three gunshots. Despite the security footage, the killers have not been caught, and the investigation remains open.
