On January 12, 2017, Mario Chavaria Bocanegra, a 46-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, tragically died in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. Bocanegra shot his wife, 44-year-old Graciela Zamora, before turning the gun on himself. Their son discovered their bodies in their South Side home later that evening.
