MaKenzi Faye Johnson, an 8-year-old girl from Whitney, Texas, tragically passed away on March 23, 2017. She was born on May 16, 2008, to Joshua William and Heather Marie Richardson Johnson. MaKenzi was a student at an elementary school in Whitney. Her death was the result of what was believed to be an accidental gunshot wound. The Hill County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that MaKenzi died from this accidental shooting.
