In the early hours of April 12, 2012, the life of 18-year-old Jamal Donta Peal, an African-American male, was tragically cut short in a shooting in North St. Louis, Missouri. Police responded to a call and discovered Jamal suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
