Patrick Powell, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 26, 2017, in Dallas, TX. Powell was shot during a drive-by shooting while playing basketball with his cousin at Miller Family Park in the Oak Cliff area. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., when a vehicle drove by and opened fire on the young men.
