On August 10, 2017, at approximately 12:29 p.m., Dallas police officers responded to a call at a motel located at 109 West Overton Road. Upon arrival, they discovered Gregory Wallace, a 33-year-old Black male, deceased inside one of the motel rooms. He had suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
