Krista RaNae Copeland, a 28-year-old woman from Fort Worth, Texas, tragically lost her life on September 10, 2017. She was fatally shot by her ex-husband, Brian Kesner, in the parking lot of the Southwest Regional Branch Library off Hulen Drive. The incident occurred late Saturday night, and Krista was found shot inside her vehicle. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Brian Kesner, 38, had called 911 shortly after the shooting to report the homicide before taking his own life.
