Demarko Lonnell Marshalls, aged 20, was fatally shot on September 10, 2012, in St. Louis, Missouri. His body was discovered riddled with bullets in the Lewis Place neighborhood, an area struggling with high rates of violent crime. The shooting occurred late in the evening, and police were called to the scene after reports of gunfire.
