Jalen Johnson, a 24-year-old African American male from Port Arthur, Texas, tragically lost his life on December 23, 2017, in Longview, Texas. Jalen was an active member of his community and known by his friends and family as "JDUBB of 4/5." He was an upcoming artist and a graduate of Memorial High School Class of 2011. His untimely death occurred during an attempted robbery when a resident of the home shot him. The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
