De Marcus LasJuan Else, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 1, 2021, in Longview, Texas. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at a house located in the 900 block of Ridgelea Avenue. According to reports, De Marcus was inside the house when he was struck by a bullet at approximately 12:31 a.m. Despite being rushed to a local hospital by the Longview Fire Department EMS, he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
