Virginia Ann Benefield, a 46-year-old woman from Bryan, Texas, tragically lost her life on January 17, 2018. She was found dead in her apartment at the Canyon Village apartments, alongside her husband, Melvin Nathan Benefield, and their neighbor, Larry Darnell Davis. The police determined that Melvin Benefield shot both Virginia and Larry Davis before turning the gun on himself. The incident was ruled a murder-suicide.
