Ladarian Trevon Welch, a 22-year-old African American man from Kendleton, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on January 20, 2018. The incident occurred when Welch confronted Johnny Bradshaw, who was speeding in a residential neighborhood. Welch asked Johnny to slow down multiple times, and Johnny eventually parked the car and got out along with his twin brother, Jonathan Bradshaw.
