Michael Gobert, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically died on March 24, 2018, in Houston, Texas. He was a freshman studying computer science at Texas Southern University and was known for his friendly and hardworking nature. Michael was attending an off-campus party when he was accidentally shot by an acquaintance who unintentionally discharged a firearm. The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m., and despite immediate medical attention, Michael succumbed to his injuries.
