Frederick Wayne Thomas, a 28-year-old African American male from Jefferson, Texas, tragically lost his life on May 7, 2018. The incident occurred at the residence of Prentis Earl Smith, II, also of Marion County. Frederick Thomas was shot in the face and neck, leading to critical injuries. Despite being airlifted to a hospital in Shreveport, Thomas succumbed to his injuries three days later.
