Theophilos Greer, a 19-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically died on June 5, 2018, in Irving, Texas. Greer was one of two teenagers who attempted to rob Jarrell Ivory Chaney, a 31-year-old man, at his apartment in the 4200 block of Clubhouse Place. During the robbery, Chaney managed to disarm one of the juvenile suspects, and all three suspects began to flee.
