LaMonte Dewayne Bush, a 42-year-old African American man from Houston, Texas, was tragically killed on June 29, 2018. Bush was the owner of a nightclub and was shot in the back of the head while standing outside his establishment. He was talking to his wife and 9-year-old daughter, who were inside a parked car, when the assailant approached from behind and fired the fatal shot.
