Miguel Rivera, a 54-year-old Hispanic man from Tornillo, Texas, tragically died on July 25, 2018. Rivera was shot in the head by Eduardo Garza Santillana, a former employee who had been living on Rivera's property. The incident occurred after Rivera had fired Santillana for allegedly stealing from him. Rivera's ranch hand, Abelardo Moreno, was also shot but survived the attack.
