King Thomas III, a 15-year-old aspiring rapper from Fort Worth, Texas, was fatally shot in the living room of his home on August 8, 2018. He was pronounced dead at the scene with a gunshot wound. His mother, Shawndrisa Hicks, had seen him just the night before, unaware it would be their final goodbye. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the 1700 block of Warren Lane.
