Rodney Gene Bonham, a 21-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, tragically lost his life on August 9, 1969, in Fort Worth, Texas. Bonham was fatally shot in the neck by Joe Michael Ervin, a 17-year-old high school student, at the Berry Bowl bowling alley on East Berry Street. The incident occurred when Ervin and his friend approached Bonham's car and demanded something, leading to the fatal shooting.
