Tammy Wynette Stevens, a 50-year-old woman from Frankston, Texas, tragically lost her life on August 10, 2018. She was fatally shot at the Quik Stop Convenience Store located at 308 East Pines Street in Frankston. The incident occurred when Grady Howell, the suspect, walked into the store and exchanged words with Stevens before pulling out what appeared to be a revolver and shooting her in the head. The same bullet also injured a male victim, James Jones, 78, who was hit in the arm.
