Tamara Augustus, an 18-year-old African American woman from Fort Worth, Texas, tragically lost her life on December 31, 2018. She was fatally shot while trying to escape gunfire outside a warehouse party on Jones Street in south Fort Worth. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. during a New Year's Eve celebration.
