On the afternoon of Saturday, August 31, 2013, 29-year-old Corey M. Knight was killed in a violent incident in Kansas City, Missouri. The shooting took place at approximately 3:30 p.m. at a residence located in the 4700 block of East 40th Place on the city's east side. Authorities arrived at the scene to find Knight deceased.
