Daniel Mwanche, a 66-year-old man from Houston, Texas, tragically died on March 5, 2019, after being shot in the park at 6855 Harbor Town Drive. He was walking alone when an unknown suspect or suspects shot him and fled the scene. Despite his injuries, Mwanche managed to drive himself to a nearby apartment, where a family member called 9-1-1. He was then transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
