Ruben Lee Washington, a 14-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on April 10, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred in the afternoon at an apartment complex in the Oak Cliff area, specifically along the 3800 block of South Tyler Street. Washington was transported to Methodist Central Hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue, where he was pronounced deceased.
